Jamie Tompkins-Kirschner is the  sole owner and operator of Jay Convey, a remote conveyancing business based in the Shuswap area of British Columbia.

Raised in Maple Ridge, B.C., Jamie obtained her Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from Douglas College in 2006 and her Paralegal Certificate from Capilano University in 2013. Currently Jamie has completed half of the credits towards a Bachelor of Criminology at  Douglas College. She is also a voting member of the BC Paralegal Association. She has garnered over seventeen years experience in the legal field, primarily in conveyancing, and over nineteen years experience working in an office environment.

Jamie worked full time as the head/senior conveyancer for the same Notary for eight years while growing her remote conveyancing business from home on the evenings and weekends. In June of 2013, Jamie’s first child was born, and from then on,  she has continued to work solely from home as a remote conveyancer.

When out of the office, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and pets, outings to the beach, kayaking, gardening, crafting, and baking.
